1. The First Day of October one thousand seven
2. hundred and ninety.
3. On which day Administration of all and singular
4. the Goods Chattels and Credits of James Barfoot late of the
5. Parish of Bishops Stoke in the County of Southampton and Diocese of Winchester Yeoman
6. a widower deceased intestate was granted and committed to John
7. Barfoot one of the natural and lawful sons and next of kin of the
8. said James Barfoot and the said John Barfoot was duly sworn well and faithfully to administer [----]
9. and that the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased did not at the
10. time of his Death amount in value to the sum of six hundred pounds
11. as he verily believes.
